This website is operated by DECKRON PTY LTD - Trading as Mavik's (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing something from our online store, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Service Area & Orders


Local Focus: We primarily service Alice Springs and surrounding Northern Territory communities.


Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order. An order is only accepted once you receive a shipping confirmation email.


Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.


Payment


We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, eftpos), digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay), and Buy Now, Pay Later services (Klarna, Afterpay). Payment must be cleared in full before goods are dispatched or prepared for local pickup.


Shipping & Delivery


Given our location in Central Australia, please note the following:


  • Delivery Times: We aim to process orders within [X] business days. Delivery times to remote communities may vary significantly due to weather or transport availability.


  • Remote Surcharges: Some remote locations may incur additional freight charges. If this applies to your order, we will contact you before processing payment.


  • Bush Orders: For orders being sent via specific mail planes or community barge/truck services, our liability ends once the goods are delivered to the designated transport provider.

Click & Collect (Local Pickup)


Orders can be collected from Shop 6/7 Yeperenye Shopping Centre, 36-38 Hartley Street, Alice Springs NT 0870 during business hours.


Please wait for a "Ready for Collection" notification before arriving.


Returns & Refunds


Our returns policy is governed by the Australian Consumer Law:


  • Change of Mind: We are not strictly required to provide a refund for change of mind, but we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion within [X] days.


  • Faulty Goods: If a product is faulty or wrongly described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.


  • Return Freight: For remote customers, please contact us before "sending back" items to discuss the most efficient transport method.


Limitation of Liability


To the extent permitted by law, DECKRON PTY LTD - Trading as Mavik's shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or delays in delivery caused by third-party freight providers.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia.
